This lovely Handmade Dresden Plate quilt, measuring eighty by seventy-six inches (80″ x 76″) has a unique design with both large and small floral plates. Made around the nineteen-thirties 1930s, it is made from cotton and has a nice crispy cotton batting that feels really soft. The whole piece is handmade, being hand pieced and hand stitched with care. It uses pretty feedsack fabrics in an elegant layout with no wear or damage. Freshly laundered, this vintage bed quilt is clean and ready to enjoy in your home or as a display piece. There’s some discoloration at the back but the quilt surface is totally fine.

Most of the quilts we’re selling are pre-loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on trips, slept on underneath the stars, and lived along before arriving at our doorstep. You can expect to see repairs made by later generations, fraying around the edges or in certain blocks, discoloration or yellowing. They might be imperfect, but their imperfections are charming.
